We subscribe, we test, we publish the verdict
About this site
IPTV Service Review reviews IPTV services for viewers in the United States and Canada. This page explains who we are and what our conflict of interest is, because we have a significant one.
The disclosure first
The eight services we review and score are operated by the company that publishes this site, and we are paid when you subscribe to any of them. Stating that at the top of this page is the minimum we owe you. The full statement is on the ownership disclosure page.
What that means in practice
Our measurements are real: the stability results, the response times, the pricing arithmetic and the criticisms all describe what we found. What is not neutral is the comparison set. A ranking of eight services we all operate tells you how they compare to each other, not how they compare to the wider market.
This is why every page separates what we tested from what we only read. The market services in our alternatives guides are marked as untested throughout, because we have not subscribed to them and will not pretend otherwise.
How we test
Ninety days per service on real hardware, weighted toward peak evening hours. The full method is on the how we test page.
Who writes this
Reviews are written by Marcus Hale, IPTV reviewer, and checked by Rhea Solomon before publication. Corrections go to the contact page and are made on the page itself.
What we recommend you do anyway
Read at least one review of any service from a site with no ownership relationship to it. Take the free trial. Buy one month before you buy a year. None of those steps require trusting us.
