TrendyScreen alternatives: what to switch to and why
If you are looking at TrendyScreen, or looking for something instead of it, the useful question is not which list ranks it highest. It is whether the claim it is sold on survives thirty seconds of checking.
The phrase to notice is 4K on selected channels, and this page is about finding out how short that selection is.
About TrendyScreen
We have not subscribed to this service. Everything below is drawn from the provider's own marketing and from third-party listings, and those sources disagree with each other on basic figures. Nothing here is a measurement we made. The services we do test are the ones we operate, which is disclosed on every page and in full on our ownership disclosure.
Position in the market: Sold on a broad international lineup and updated 4K movie libraries
What the listings claim: Listings describe a broad international lineup, sometimes quoted around 20,000 channels, with mixed-genre on-demand content, an EPG, and UHD or 4K on selected channels. Totals vary by source and we have not subscribed to it.
How to check the claim it is sold on
We have not subscribed to TrendyScreen, so we are not going to tell you what its customers think. What follows is more useful anyway: how to verify its own headline claim yourself, before any money changes hands.
Read the resolution, not the channel name
Most players expose stream information in a settings or info panel. A channel labelled 4K running at 1920x1080 is upscaled HD. Genuine 4K reports 3840x2160 and a much higher bitrate. This takes thirty seconds and settles the question for good.
Selected channels usually means very few
Ask how many channels actually carry 4K rather than whether 4K is supported. Almost every provider in this market supports it on something.
4K needs about 25Mbps of your own bandwidth
Sustained, at the hour you watch, per stream. If your connection cannot hold that at 9pm, no provider will give you 4K and the fault will not be theirs.
The alternatives we test
These are ours. We operate them, we are paid when you subscribe, and each one below is here for a reason tied to the specific claim TrendyScreen is sold on — not because it is our general favourite.
TereaTV
Best overall · Tested by us
The most consistent 4K delivery of anything we test, which is really a stability result — 4K is the first thing to collapse when a connection wavers.
BexyTV
Cheapest annual plan · Tested by us
Delivers through a browser, so it works on 4K sets that will not install a player app at all, at $100 a year.
VinomTV
Family-safe lineup · Tested by us
Broad international breadth with a filtered lineup, which suits a shared living-room TV in a multigenerational house.
| Service | From | Monthly | 12 months | Connections | Score |

Common questions
How do I know if a channel is really 4K?
Open your player's stream info while it plays. Genuine 4K reports 3840x2160. Anything reporting 1920x1080 under a 4K label is upscaled.
What is the best alternative to TrendyScreen?
Of the services we test, TereaTV scored highest at 9.4 out of 10. We cannot rank it against TrendyScreen directly because we have not subscribed to TrendyScreen.
Is TrendyScreen a scam?
We have no evidence of that and we would not make that claim about a service we have not subscribed to. We also do not link to it, so there is nothing in it for us either way. Use the checks above and judge it yourself.
Will my player still work if I switch?
In almost every case yes. Providers issue the same style of credentials, so changing service usually means changing three fields rather than changing apps.
Should I cancel before I switch?
No. Start the new trial while the old subscription is still running so you can compare them on the same evenings.
